some time ago, and printed out the article to post on the shelter bulletin board. A bit later I was talking to the shelter's executive manager, who likes to wander around and touch base with people on occasion. I was doing my "catnip rounds" in the stray jail after cleaning and mentioned the article. He said that when he was out in Utah in a more or less desert area he had actually seen bobcats rolling in catnip. So yeah, it's a thing. I have a patch that I planted in the back of our yard a couple of years ago. My girls go out there and roll from time to time and I'm pretty sure passing felines do too, although they will be told about themselves by Winnie and Vicky if they are seen or stay around long.

Neighborhood until my allergy to mint got too intense. Now I can't touch it, even dried. But when there's a kitty in need of some, I'll wear gloves and a mask just so I can oblige but no further. The last time I had fresh, I had to dress up like a beekeeper with an N95 mask to harvest it. That was the last time for me!
