(58,875 posts)broke BOTH legs). They put in plates and screws and we've just been waiting for her to grow enough bone mass to hold the hardware of a replacement. It's been a long road, and the poor thing has been in a lot of pain for 8 months, but hopefully this will be the last of the surgeries. I'm totally excited to see her moving without pain.
I am so glad your replacement was a success. It is often kind of a miraculous surgery.

(141,926 posts)Summer solstice time!
If youre enjoying these enchantingly long, bright days, get ready for Tuesday. June 21 is summer solstice, the longest day and shortest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.
Washington, D.C., sees about 14 hours 54 minutes of daylight on the summer solstice, with sunrise at 5:42 a.m. and sunset at 8:36 p.m.

(89,289 posts)I had to notify the woman handling publishing this week for my Indivisible groups Call to Action email yesterday. I noticed that between Sunday and yesterday, the time for Thursdays hearing had changed from 1pm to 3pm. Thought I was too late to make the correction before it got sent out. However, she was running late, herself, and hadnt set it up to go out yet. Lucky break.
Ive been trying to stay on top of it and that hasnt been easy.
