Google keeps a profile on you.
Some say, even those without a Google account, " shadow profiles"
And Google NEVER FORGETS.

Use a privacy-focused search engine, like DuckDuckGo.
Lots more here. It's a bit technical, but people on DU are glad to help.

Digital Security and Privacy Tips for Those Involved in Abortion Access
This applies to everyone. All it takes is a warrant to get your search history at Google (and lots more).
Do you want to gamble with some RW cop or D.A,?
Footnotes:
1. There are search engines like DuckDuckGo that erase records of who searched what daily or so.
Long story short, I use DuckDuckGo (duckduckgo.com) and set it as default on all my devices (phone, ipad, computers) It's actually easy. But no glaringly obvious. There are others.
2. Needless to say, home gizmos like Nest (owned by Google), Google Home, Alexa and Apple's gizmo hear everything (they use what you say in "private" moments to train their software), but this is about browsers.
