Maybe we can work something out with Texas...

Some kind of deal where the remaining sane people in Texas can take their assets and leave, and the GOPpie wackadoodles from other states can migrate to Texas, on some kind of even exchange program.

No backsies, though.

speculatively,
Bright

Unless I am missing something. And yeah, if you think Brexit for the UK has been a disaster, seceding for TX would be 10 times worse. And I am sure they didn't realize they'd lose standing for their collegiate and pro sports team. How could they survive the weekends?

they believe that:

A: they can do what they want and'

B: that all the federal property in Texas would stay with them.

Not even because they are stupid, but because they are staggeringly, blindingly arrogant.

Stupid too.

And have you and all the democrats there be forced to give up your assets, move and uproot your lives.

I get that this post is in jest, but I am sick of all the posts suggesting people in red states should just move to blue states. To post such a thing reeks of privilege. I suppose you and all of your blue state neighbors would be willing to give up the very best properties in the very best neighborhoods, spots in the best schools? What about all the poor women and POC who do not have the means to relocate?
