Not prosecuting for such a reason would have only the exact opposite effect. It would be stupidity.

Elderly women threatened in their own homes. Having to flee their homes.Threats to murder a baby. I guess that baby has no right to life if her dad is on the Jan 6 committee.

I'm not worried and don't care if there is violence or Civil War. That Orange Creature and his henchmen need to locked up. Then whatever happens....happens then.

win he won't charge him. Can you imagine if he goes in trial and wins. He will be strutting around claiming it was a witch hunt. On second thought he will claim that either way.

But, if we see the DOJ move to indict, we will know that Garland has got him. I think that we need to do it regardless of whether we can win, because history has to show that we were not faint hearted in the face of this threat to our Democracy.

If we do nothing, we are wimps. The American people need to see the DOJ stand up to Trump. I am not worried about the timeline. Things worth doing take time, and a careful prosecutor nails down the facts.

That's why I'd be content to allow him to sail away from our shores, and take his evil cabal with him. We need to be rid of this Joker asap.

about what the future holds. especially when you're talking about a jury. He needs to be reasonably certain that he can prove his case beyond a reasonable doubt. And then go. Do it.

for a nation that purports to be a nation of laws and not men, to prosecute those who break the law. trump fits that bill. any argument that says otherwise is an argument full of shit. period.

just think if nixon had been prosecuted. wouldn't life be different and better? I think it would. It was a bullshit argument then and it's a bullshit argument now.
