The British filmmaker was brought in by ... Jared.

Ivanka Trump expressed a different view on the election to a filmmaker.

[New York Times] Ivanka Trump, the elder daughter of former President Donald J. Trump, told a documentary film crew in the middle of December 2020 that her father should “continue to fight until every legal remedy is exhausted” because people were questioning “the sanctity of our elections.”

The video, which was played for The New York Times by someone with access to it, was part of a trove that the filmmaker Alex Holder turned over to the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol. He recorded several hours of interviews with Mr. Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, some of Mr. Trump’s adult children and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Mr. Holder is expected to be interviewed by the committee on Thursday.

“I think that, as the president has said, every single vote needs to be counted and needs to be heard, and he campaigned for the voiceless,” Ms. Trump replied. “And I think a lot of Americans feel very, very disenfranchised right now, and really, question the sanctity of our elections, and that’s not right, it’s not acceptable.”

The filmmaker was connected to Mr. Kushner by Jason Greenblatt, a former lawyer at the Trump Organization and then the White House envoy to the Middle East. The film was envisioned as a legacy project for Mr. Trump, according to two people familiar with how it came about.

... but like everything else he handed it off to Jared to actually make it happen. Not that I feel sorry for Jared. My point is that all the huffing and puffing by Chump NOW is meaningless. He's pretending he didn't know about the film, but most likely it was HIS IDEA.

He just wants to have somebody to blame. Because it's NEVER his fault!

First, Bill Barr told Team Trump that the election was not stolen:

Barr’s first post-election meeting with Trump came on Nov. 23 ... Barr said he was then reassured by Mark Meadows, Jared Kushner, and Trump aide Dan Scavino that they were working on convincing Trump that he did, in fact, lose the election. ... Barr testifying that things started to “deteriorate” over the next week, leading Barr to on Dec. 1 tell the Associated Press that there was no evidence of election fraud. Barr met with Trump again on Dec. 14 ... (he) announced his resignation the same day.

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/bill-barr-trump-jan-6-hearing-1367289/

Then Ivanka testified to the Jan. 6 committee that she accepted Barr's assertion that the election was not stolen:

In a piece of video evidence shared during Rep. Liz Cheney's opening statement Thursday during the hearing of the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, Ivanka Trump, the former president's daughter and his onetime White House adviser, reacted to then-Attorney General William Barr saying that the 2020 election was not stolen.

Interviewers asked Ivanka Trump for her reaction to Barr's statement.

"It affected my perspective. I respect Attorney General Barr so I accepted what he said," Ivanka Trump testified.

https://www.npr.org/2022/06/09/1104081027/ivanka-trump-said-she-accepted-barrs-conclusion-that-the-2020-election-wasnt-sto

To which TFG responded:

Former President Donald Trump on Friday discounted his own daughter’s testimony that the 2020 presidential election results were not fraudulent.

Ivanka Trump was not involved in looking at, or studying, Election results. She had long since checked out and was, in my opinion, only trying to be respectful to Bill Barr and his position as Attorney General (he sucked!),” Trump posted on Truth Social, the social media platform he helped found.

https://www.politico.com/news/2022/06/10/donald-ivanka-trump-jan-6-testimony-00038783

Except Ivanka was in the Oval Office on Jan 6. not looking very checked out at all:

Previously unreleased photographs from inside the White House provided to the House select committee investigating the attack on the US Capitol on 6 January, 2021 show then-president Donald Trump with his children and aides inside the Oval Office that day.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-oval-office-jan-6-capitol-riot-b2103117.html

And now we find out from this new documentary evidence that:

Ivanka Trump, the elder daughter of former President Donald J. Trump, told a documentary film crew in the middle of December 2020 that her father should “continue to fight until every legal remedy is exhausted” because people were questioning “the sanctity of our elections.”

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/21/us/politics/ivanka-trump-election.html

So she lied in her testimony about accepting Barr's opinion.

Lies upon lies upon lies.

Anyway, this is bloody marvellous. Two different documentaries, lots of footage of people flapping their mouths like they’ve already won: Trump & Family in one; and the murderous Oaf Keepers & Proud Boys in the other. One group pretending to be genteel, and the other group soaked in testosterone and busting windows in the Senate and House.

My, my, my.

You don't even resemble a human being anymore. You don't have to kiss Daddy's ass (or any other part of his body) anymore. You married money, honey, you don't need Daddy's.

Now Jr. and Gums? That's a different story. Those two will starve to death without someone stuffing their pockets full of money for nothing. Jr. has a nasty coke habit and a nasty girlfriend to support. Both will end up killing him at a relatively early age.

Gums.....he's just a useless sack of protoplasm. His wife would end up supporting him without Daddy's money. He can't walk and chew gum at the same time.

Barron? The jury is still out on him.

Tiffany? She makes her own money, I think.

than he would have on any other project.

If The Big Orange Pig had successfully completed his coup, no one would ever have known Holder's name.

As it is now, his name will almost be a household name. He's famous, or infamous.
