Lawrence O'Donnell is making a great point on MSNBC.

Mike Pence, who likes to speechify like a preacher, never allowed his religion to stop him from being a liar and a Trump lackey. Without actually saying it, O’Donnell said Pence is full of shit.

He compared him to Rusty Bowers, who is an arch conservative and a deeply religious man, who actually lives his beliefs.

O’Donnell said Trump doesn’t understand religious people.

The republicans who testified today did the right thing, but they are still purveyors of voter suppression. We shouldn’t forget that.

the defense lawyer/trial attorney. Going over how Trump was totally exposed today in J6. That an attorney having to defend TFG would be thinking plea deal

6. TFG Will Make A Plea Deal Taking His Lead From Nixon.....

He's going to resign the presidency.

Oh you say - he isn't the president.

In his mind however, he thinks he's the president.

He'll get off on the fact that he's not mentally fit to stand trial.

He's crazy!!!

12. If he makes a plea deal he'd have to admit he lost. He'll never do that.

He'll do what he always does -- attack, deflect and delay. He'll gush praise on patriot Merrick Garland for not joining the witch hunt. He'll count on "his" justices on the SCOTUS -- plus Ginny's husband -- to ultimately save his ass.

And he'll continue to run his fund-raising con. And his followers, bless their souls, will keep sending their dollars to "stop the steal."

all day long. Unless he’s lying about supporting TFG. He’s a repuke so lying comes naturally. In fact it’s required.

9. People manage to reconcile all kinds of conflicts in their own mind.

Going to church on Sunday and voting for Trump on Tuesday is reconciled by convincing yourself it doesn’t matter if Trump is a degenerate pig as long as he appoints the right Justices to the SC, or supports gun rights, or whatever. Humans are good at rationalizing.

11. It should be a slam dunk for a true Christian to say "NO!" to an immoral pig like Trump

To make a case against Christians supporting Trump would require a lot of cyberspace, because there are multiple passages of the Bible that warn Christians against having anything to do with people like that. In at least two places, the definition given to "antichrist" fits Trump perfectly.

But you're right, toss some of these people a few bones, like justice appointments or gun rights, and they throw Jesus under the bus and change their whole theology to get on the bandwagon.

call him Republican Jesus, Supply-Side Jesus, or Republican Supply-Side Jesus, but whatever you call him he's not the real Jesus.. For one thing, he likes guns.

I'm confident that's the Jesus that Pence worships. I'm only surprised he managed to fit kjeeping his oath to the Constitution into that theology, because most of them don't.

Corinthians # 2. I, myself, can't recite any specific Bible passages to demonstrate my knowledge of The Lord's word. Donald can. So I'm sure he is a faithful follower of the Lord.

And also, he carries a Bible with him at all times. How do I know this? Why else would he have been able to produce a Bible at the spur of the moment, while facing an Antifa, B.L.M. mob in Washington D.C.?

Now you get your shit together and write a letter of apology to Trump at Mar-a Largo, Florida. You don't need a street address. I'm sure your letter of apology will get to him.

Ralph... come on. Do you really need the sarcasm thingy?

FINALLY came down on the side of the light - ONCE. For what? A day and a half? If even that? That doesn't earn you absolution for years of brown-nosing and genuflecting to trump. You hope we'll forget. Many of us won't.
