Can Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss sue Trump and Giuliani and file criminal charges against them too?

Washington Post: Election workers describe ‘hateful’ threats after Trump’s false claims

Shaye Moss’s life forever changed on Dec. 10, 2020, when Rudy Giuliani, then President Donald
Trump’s top campaign lawyer, publicly claimed that she and her mother, a fellow poll worker in
Fulton County, Ga., had rigged the outcome in her state.

“It was just a lot of horrible things there,” Moss said at a hearing Tuesday before the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. Many of the messages were racist and “hateful,” said Moss, who is Black. “A lot of threats wishing death upon me, telling me I’ll be in jail with my mother and saying things like, ‘Be glad it’s 2020 and not 1920.’ ”

That was only the beginning. Moss eventually stopped going to the grocery store, where she feared acquaintances might say her name and call attention from believers of Trump’s voter-fraud claims. Election deniers showed up at the home of her grandmother and tried to push their way in to search for evidence of fraud. Both she and her mother, Ruby Freeman, were forced into hiding. They quit their jobs with the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections, where Moss had proudly served as a poll worker for more than a decade.

Trump also attacked Freeman and Moss personally in a phone call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) just days before the Capitol attack, mentioning Freeman 18 times and describing her at one point as a “professional vote scammer and hustler.” The Washington Post obtained a recording of the call and published it last year.

When is enough enough? Freeman and Moss have TFG and Rudy on tape purposely spreading lies and
disinformation about them which led to threats of violence and emotional trauma.

.... his properties in N.Y. State. Trump was paying a $10,000 per day fine for his refusal to
cooperate with court orders from N.Y. state and she has filed the paperwork to take his properties
if he or his family fails to appear for their scheduled up coming court appearances.

I might be wrong but the reason Trump fought so hard to stay in power was to avoid the civil and
criminal charges he knew was coming at him. BTW Trump must be dying knowing that 2 powerful
black women (James in N.Y. and Willis in Georgia) are coming after him and they have the goods
too.

Incitement to what, I don't know. Any lawyers care to speculate on possible charges?

I mean, simple defamation can't be enough for making them targets of violence. And testifying on TV has made them even more visible. Their lives are in danger, period. And that motherfucker did that to them.

There's gotta be some kind of serious charge.

What I would expect is that Lady Ruby will either get pro bono representation (the other kind of "Deep Pockets&quot or her legal fees based on donations to her (more likely). Trump usually waits out his lawsuits for the other side to run out of money. Not this time.

and have settled with OAN - which suggests that they now have a reasonable amount of money with which to keep suing the pants off Rudy. Whether they'll sue TFG as well probably awaits the 2nd Circuit's decision in E.
Jean Carroll's defamation case.

I am so angry. Trump and co-defendants do not give ONE rats ass about how their words affect others. In fact, they wanted the result they got. Silence, send a message to others, chill free elections, cause chaos.

I hope the best lawyer in the world represents them for free.

Except for a very edge-case limited circumstance which is not applicable here, "criminal charges" are filed by prosecutors, not citizens.

Moss and Freeman have already settled with OAN and are continuing to sue Giuliani in DC.

They have another suit in progress in Missouri against The Gateway Pundit.
