The senator said he remains in North Dakota "close to medical care" because there is a high risk of infection and the possible need for amputation. Spokeswoman Molly Block clarified on Twitter that the risk of amputation refers to Cramer's fingers, not his whole hand.

9. Well, glad it's only fingers at risk so far. He votes

VERY conservative, but at least he refused to help when tRump's cabal approached him before Jan 6 and voted to confirm Biden.

Like the other people who finally "drew a line" at that point, I wonder what he would have done if he thought he could safely be on the winning side of a successful coup.

But whatever. Hope they save his fingers.
