The best way to define many Republicans is this.

Extreme hypocrites. They will vote for a crook, someone evil as long as they get what they want. They may not commit crimes for a crook. But they will vote for them.

They will tell you how religious they are, then vote for someone who is a crook, evil. They will ignore their faith and support someone evil, someone they know is committing crimes. I hate hypocrites.

3. They're not hypocrites. They're tribalistic, partisan liars

Hypocrisy is when you talk about some rule or standard or morality that should apply to everyone, then break it yourself.

Republicans don't actually do this. They never say the rules and standards they hold democrats to should apply to republicans. Because they're the party of good and god and Murika, so a little sex scandal or grift or whatever is fine.

It's not hypocrisy, it's a double standard. A high one for us, and none for them. Also, that's their definition of freedom. They can do what they want, and we can't.

For years I heard reps say if the devil was a democrat we would vote for him anyway. Well now the truth is if the devil was a republican they already voted for him! TFG=😈
