How did the two meet? How long have they known each other? What was the start of their relationship?

The reason I'm asking is because I just learned from the History Channel that Rudy in his younger years was instrumental in taking down the mafia crime families in NYC.

I'm wondering if Rudy's affiliation with the mafia in NYC had anything to do with his affiliation with Tr**p?

There's been speculation that Tr**p runs his operation like a crime boss. Does Rudy still have ties to the mafia? Does he know the secrets of the mafia that allows him to advise Tr**p and keep Tr**p from being caught?

Rudy helped take down specific crime families when he ran the NYC office. John Connolly helped bring down some in Boston when he worked for the FBI. But poor John got caught for working with Whitey Bulger, who informed on his competition. Apply that model to Rudy .... keeping in mind that there is a nest, dwindling as it may be, of retired FBI agents in NYC that are closely connected to Rudy, and who have all supported Trump. It's not that Trump was an informant, but rather, that he did business with Rudy's favorite "family."
