I hope they don’t set an artificial limit on the hearings but give us lots of information.

I think that they are not planning to limit the public hearings. There is more and more information being documented since the start of this series, and they recognize the significance of that.

Consistently this committee has put out information that's truthful. I'm pretty sure she is telling the truth here.

Let it bake for a couple of weeks. Leave 'em guessing what might be next. I hope they have additional hearings.

if only I was not so anxious to hear all of it.

It is rather odd to be anxious to hear things that we really wish we did not have to hear but it is what it is I suppose.

But this is so much better than they could have done back then, and it's closer to the election.

I am in awe of how they've put this together, and I'm hugely impressed by everyone on the committee. I'm so glad Nancy P. didn't let the clowns on the committee, and I'm dancing with joy that McCarthy had his snit fit and declared he wouldn't nominate anyone if he didn't get the people he wanted.

and luck AND then stupidity on McCarthy's part. Snits are never a good way to govern or make a decision.

I have to say I am terribly impressed. At this point mostly with the Republicans who are doing what they are meant to do no matter how much pressure and how many threats have found them. The Democrats are winding up. They have been fabulous but I am waiting for their "at bat" when they can really wind up and strike it out of there. (baseball analogies? where is that coming from?)

This is proving to hit all points needed and done by just the right people. I KNEW they had that in them but it has been a long while since we have seen something like this. Maybe it is just me but I am feeling a bit more proud than I have in a while now. My convictions have always been firm.

It has been interesting that so much of this is being told by Republicans. Our media has made our democracy a joke or these people have just been too scared or something to speak out. Now we know there really are some good R's, except for those who would turn around and still vote for Trump. WTH is THAT all about?

I think that they recognize the importance of keeping it open-ended. My understanding is that since the start of this series of public hearings, a significant amount of information has been documented. I'd be good with it going on into the fall!

SCOTUS decision will likely dominate for a news cycle and no need for the committee’s work to be choked out. By the time things die down it will be back on the top of the headlines where it belongs.

I really hope not. I hope they wait until next week. By the time the committee comes back after the 4th, people will be ready for the next hearing.
