At the risk of sounding like a radical trans woman, I think all children should be fed and the food they are fed should be free and that none of this should hinge on an elitist conservative politician weaponizing transphobia against hungry children.

There are days I expect to see "Transgenders carried out 9/11" or "Transgenders killed JFK" or even "Transgenders killed Lincoln." Why not? They already tried to pin Uvalde on us, and now are using us as an excuse to derail the extension on the school lunch program.

Hell, I'm shocked they haven't tried to pin 1/6 on us. "It wasn't MAGA. It was.... trans people!!!"

As usual, we see who are the leaders and adults in the room (Democrats). As usual, we see who the children and bullies and bigots are (Republiqans).

I'm not only tired of their single-minded obsession, I'm frightened by it.
