Want to win big in '22? Every single republican voted against trying to stop price gouging on gas.

Run ads and cover the social media with this simple message, every single republican voted against
trying to stop the oil companies from price gouging. Rinse, lather, and repeat. It is obvious that big
oil and Saudi Arabia are trying to fuck Joe Biden with high gas prices we need to stick the GOP's vote
up their asses.

House passes bill to crack down on alleged gas price gouging

The House of Representatives passed a bill along party lines Thursday that seeks to lower gas prices by cracking down on alleged price gouging by energy companies.

The House vote was 217-207: no Republican supported the bill, suggesting it's likely headed for failure in the Senate.

The Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act would grant the president authority to issue emergency energy proclamations and make it illegal to increase gas and energy prices in excessive and exploitative ways. It would also expand the Federal Trade Commission's power to investigate and address possible price gouging by oil and gas companies.

"I'm a proud capitalist, and what we're experiencing with fuel prices is the result of a broken market," (Katie) Porter said in a statement. "Big Oil executives are bragging to shareholders about price gouging families at the pump. They're purposely keeping supply low to earn record-high profits, squeezing families — and our entire economy— in the process."

KISS Keep it simple stupid.

Yep. Repeat the TRUTH just like they repeat the lies. CurtEastPoint Jun 2022 #4
It shouldn't be too hard to determine how much prices would have dropped MichMan Jun 2022 #6

They will circle to keystone pipline cancellation causing a knock on reduction to oil infrastructure investment. And of course it's Joe's fault there is war in Ukrane, blah blah blah.

The message needs to be "If Republicans would have voted for the anti gouging bill, gas would be $1.50 a gallon cheaper! " and be able to back it up with hard data. Winning message.
