So, the Trumpublicans are now saying McCarthy screwed up when he pulled all of his choices

to serve on the J6 Committee and has deprived them of the chance to defend Trump and rebut the evidence being presented. This, they imply, has resulted in the J6 presentation being one-sided and totally biased.

I absolutely agree that the presentation has been completely one-sided.

All the many witnesses who testified under oath that Trump knew he had lost the election, knew there was no "steal", and knew his alternate elector scheme and his pressure campaign against Pence and state officials were illegal have been REPUBLICANS.

Is that what they're whining about?

That's his MO. He is a very stupid man.

They're whining about it being one sided. On the one side of the truth.

yes, it would have been smart to have trumpublicans on the committee. however, it's not a trial. it's an investigation in part to determine if there is evidence of crimes that warrant charges. exculpatory evidence doesn't matter at this point. once charges are filed they can then defend their guy.

at least that's how this layperson understands it.

He refused to go along with a truly bipartisan committee with equal subpoena power. No committee, no investigation. When that didn’t work, and a different framework was adopted, he initially appointed Gym Jordan and Jim Banks, for the sole purpose of being in place to wreck the Committee. Pelosi had veto power, however, and exercised it on Jordan and Bank, but leaving in place other Republicans.

Trump told McCarthy to pick up his ball and go home, screaming partisan witch hunt. That way nobody would believe what the committee turned up. Now that didn’t work, so it has to be somebody’s fault. It can’t be Trump’s, so he’s blaming McCarthy for doing what he was ordered to do.

And Little Kevin still thinks he’s going to be Speaker. Isn’t that cute?

As one of the stupidest political moves ever made. By one of the stupidest minority leaders ever. I love it!

Another very perfect message.
