Thank you Adam Kinzinger

but we Democrats don't have to "imagine" if the country's Judicial Branch simply used their power to inflict harm on their opponents.

From today's "supreme" court, to the 4 years of Donnie Dipshit, we're fucking living it.

Your god damned party is nothing but a fucking terrorist organization.

It is simply not salvageable.

It needs to be fucking buried, and the ground over it salted.

Hopefully, come november, there's a reckoning.

The 3 Republicans testifying right now put country over party. I have so much respect for those 3 Republicans. I had a tiny taste of taking on powerful people when I was a member of my borough council. People have no idea the pressure these 3 Republicans were under taking on the traitorous, vindictive, so called, president of the United States.

Those 3 Republicans were extremely brave.

campaign to split the American's into warring factions. Easier to wage a war when your opponent is in-fighting.

Can't imagine who would want to do that.... outside of the russian sponsors and the koch-types.

Tell me one time, since John McCain voted against repealing The Affordable Care Act, that ANY "moderate" Retrumplicans prevented fucking disaster.

The very fucking guy who said; "his faith was sooooooo fucking strong, he wouldn't participate in a coup, two god damned seconds later, said he'd vote for the evil bag of dicks again!

Mike Pence, who they wanted to frickin hang, just said he'd never seen a president lie as much as Joe Biden.

It's one of the main reasons I am a Democrat. We keep our crazy aunts and uncles locked up in the attic. Retrumplicans make theirs presidents, majority leaders and supreme court justices.

Sorry if I am a little fucking nervous about relying on the likes of Rosen, or Susan Collins to save our Democracy.

The Retrumplicans party, as it is currently constructed, shouldn't be within a 1000 miles of power.

But Republicans as a group haven't always been so evil. Yes there have been many since even before Nixon that were against a democratic form of government. Obviously the rot started long ago and accelerated with Gingrich and then the tea-party type of fringe group funded by libertarians/etc.

The Democrats have had their own set of failures. Can't list them all here since that is against DU rules. Most of them, I think, are due to personal deficiencies rather than a systemic rot within the party (well since Tammany Hall.) Democrats also seem to be willing to discuss ways to improve the system, both internally as well as nationally. The repuglicons are all in De Nile mode - divert, deflect, and project.

the MSM is going to have to work overtime erasing or covering up this hearing, it was a sensational, block buster display.

Adam Kinzinger will have no problem finding employment.

Seems to sincerely believe in democratic processes.

Nice looking, too.

Cheney is another matter. I think that she is on a mission to take back her party from the wackos, but for the sake of her own personal interests more than for the country. I can't forget that her father got into office by also attempting to subvert the voting process and then used his office to benefit himself and his cronies. So he and W set the stage for Trump.

I haven't dug at all, but it seems like radio silence from a guy that couldn't stop opining about everything. Maybe there's some (r) drug that can make old ones get quiet.

Views on President Trump

In May 2018, Cheney supported President Trump's decision to withdraw from the Iran Nuclear Deal.[174]

He criticized the Trump administration during a forum at the American Enterprise Institute alongside Vice President Mike Pence in March 2019. Questioning his successor on Trump's commitment to NATO and tendency to announce policy decisions on Twitter before consulting senior staff members, Cheney went on to opine, "It seems, at times, as though your administration’s approach has more in common with Obama’s foreign policy than traditional Republican foreign policy."[175]

On the one year anniversary of the January 6 capitol insurrection, Cheney joined his daughter at the Capitol and participated in the remembrance events.[176]

and it's happening. Rethugs try to distort it back upon us and blame Biden and gas prices, but they are gaining no traction.

If our great Democratic Party can drive our base and deflect attacks and push our message, anything is possible.
