This is why we have to fight like hell, do whatever we possibly can before November to GOTV and throw as many Republicans out of office as we can! We've got so much we can use against them, and now is the time to use it to our advantage. We need some really good Dems to run in every state in the union, and I mean locally also. The GOP has been taking over a lot of local positions.

I've never voted for a Republican in my life. I vote strictly Democratic. This time around we need to get everyone to do the same.

So, I urge everyone to find at least something they can do and start today. I was approached by two different people in my meanderings today to sign petitions. These were definitely anti-GOP petitions, one was women's rights, the other was voting rights and the third had to do with raising minimum wage. Of course I signed all three, but one was a youngish man, the other was an older woman. I was encouraged by that. I saw others this past weekend at the local farmers market. People are out there doing things.

I truly believe we are in a terrible place in this country and the good ones of us have to take a stand any way we can to stop this nonsense.
