Confidence in U.S. Supreme Court Sinks to Historic Low

From Gallup:

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- With the U.S. Supreme Court expected to overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision before the end of its 2021-2022 term, Americans' confidence in the court has dropped sharply over the past year and reached a new low in Gallup's nearly 50-year trend. Twenty-five percent of U.S. adults say they have "a great deal" or "quite a lot" of confidence in the U.S. Supreme Court, down from 36% a year ago and five percentage points lower than the previous low recorded in 2014.

Only 25% of Americans have confidence in the court. Even Republicans only come in at 39%.

An unelected branch of people with lifetime appointments who have the final say about our laws has to be trusted by the public, or else our democracy is as risk. I think Roberts kind of understands this, but the other five conservative justices seem determined not to rest until this number hits 0.

aligned with forces in the country who are undermining democracy.

I don't just regard them with low esteem. I consider them invid, irrelevant, and illegitimate.

At this point, the other four are just there for show, for all it matters.

Just don't let's let them say they are not "political." That lie alone gets them more pinocchios that there are stars in the galaxy.

Six partisan hacks who don't care about the people of the United States, only about the power they can wield for the Republican party.

Take a poll next week, when the enormity of this bad decision will sink in. See if it goes down to 0 confidence!

The Court belongs to us. Since they are now RW biased, we need to revamp. The only way to go is to expand the Court to counteract the Trumpian SC. Otherwise, get rid of these lifetime clowns by impeachment.
