Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsDoes anyone else find it odd, that just a week ago, a bill was passed to keep SCOTUS judges safe.
a bill put forth by Cornyn, a Texas Republican; and today SCOTUS announces their view on NY's gun laws.
Sounds to me like this one was planned.

(3,796 posts)Would revising NY State's CCW permit laws or permit laws in general really make it any easier? Sounds like a stretch to me. DC is already shall issue and has been for awhile. I think some of you are really over thinking this one.

(12,188 posts)My post acknowledges that. But DC permit laws are already shall issue. I don't think the SC security law had anything to do with this.

(25,342 posts)The bill was in response to the perceived threat to Kavanaugh.
Today's decision was fully expected to be issued this week or early next (the SC usually wraps things up by the end of June), along with the rest of the big-ticket items.
