Seems the Harry E. Reed Insurance Agency in Millinocket, Maine thought it would be peachy-keen to complain about the new federal holiday.

The people of Millinocket, Maine were none too pleased. Neither, it seems, were Allstate and Progressive Insurance Companies who informed the good folks at the Harry E. Reed Insurance Agency their ties were severed.

fathers both owned slaves and allowed slavery to continue when the Republic was formed...some say they had no choice. Maybe not, But it was a great evil and our country's greatest sin.
