Up next, forced pregnancy checks at the borders of red states.

All females over the age of 10 will be subjected to pregnancy checks (blood, urine, or ultrasound wands) as they attempt to cross into a blue state.

Try to take a pregnant woman over the border and find yourself arrested and the female imprisoned until delivery (at least).

Tell me I'm wrong, I'll wait.

In Poland, (abortion is illegal) when a woman goes to a doctor/hospital for ANY reason, she is checked for pregnancy. If she is, that fact is entered in her digital file. If she does not end up giving birth, the health facility will know.

that question was asked of me anytime I sought medical care.

It’s fairly standard.

This is new in Poland and solely to track if a woman was pregnant and still is so she can be charged if she does not give birth.

Even a single woman. so what would this info get them, nothing. But, I agree with you that life will be hell for women in other ways from these assholes.

They’ll also be tested on the way back. If they were pregnant when they left and aren’t when they get back, they have a lot to answer for.

Women will have to prove the circumstances behind miscarriages and doctors will have to report miscarriages to the state for investigation. But, I guess that’s okay because a right to privacy isn’t expressly guaranteed in the Constitution.

All the horrible implications of this will become clearer over time.

This country is no longer at the brink. It’s gone off the damned cliff.

Republicans have been working out how to prevent women from leaving the state while pregnant.

The health and wellbeing of the mother means nothing.

Abortion was illegal in Nazi Germany.
