Just this week alone...

Just this week alone SCOTUS has ruled that
1) private religious schools can receive public funding;
2) laws governing conceal carry are illegal;
3) women have no rights to control their own bodies.

Up next:
1) banning contractives;
2) over ruling marriage equality.

Won't be long until affirmative action is ruled unconstitutional and Jim Crow is made the law of the land. Get ready for the reintroduction of color bars above rest rooms, lunch counters and water fountains.

And the ERA will never be rectified.

They will allow schools to go back to segregating students by color. And underfund them in minority areas.

They will claim bodies like the SEC, the EPA and others cannot issue regulations because it violates due process.

Wait and see.

The fact Richard Nixon helped champion the establishment of the EPA will mean absolutely nothing. The Republican Party of today has nothing to do with the Republican Party of Eisenhower, Nixon or even Reagan, let alone Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.

all the upset is because people simply aren't understanding this ruling.
It does NOT ban abortion. Not even close.
I know this is a major setback and I'm not trying to downplay the ramifications, so don't attack. But we need to be realistic here and stop selling doom. This will be sorted out, and it'll be done properly this time so the issue is not constantly being attacked.
We all know where the majorities lie on this subject, and voters will respond accordingly, they always do in the end.
And as a side benefit, this is likely to do serious damage to republicans in the upcoming mid-term elections, something we desperately needed.
I'm staying positive on this one, and I feel good about how this will end. It is just going to be a bit painful getting there.

This list can grow and grow. And I don't believe anything is off the table or out of the question.
