I've hated having to hear LMcL's voice over and over. That creature has the most annoying, robotic, singsong voice I've ever head issue from any mouth, human or otherwise. The emptiness of his soul is reflected in the emptiness of his voice. How anyone could find him believable, much less convincing, is beyond me. The idea that some find him inspiring and attribute "leadership" to him is not just astounding, but utterly appalling. If a turnip were to suddenly erupt in human speech, it would sound more natural and less alien.
I've loved seeing some people show genuine pride in doing their damned jobs like they were supposed to do. OK, a lot of them are flawed people, even diehard Uglicans, but they know there is some value in just getting things right, no matter whether someone else says otherwise. I especially enjoyed Chris Stirewalt's testimony. He boasted that FOX called it for Biden and they were right, before the other networks! They had the best people, they had the best data! Even if you don't like him or entirely agree with him, it was refreshing to see someone hold to a professional standard rather than a blindly political one. Maybe FOX won't hire him again, but someone will, and good for them. His job was to get it right, not to sympathize with his employers' favorite candidate. All the former Uglicans who appeared on MSNBC's panel made similar comments about that moment of truth, when the candidate gets the bad news -- the numbers guy has to be right, so right that there can be no hope. To encourage false hope is a disservice, but it's exactly what LMcL wanted, which says everything about him.
