who called 911 on himself. I realize there is a whole lot going on, but why hasn't someone mentioned the possibility of an intentional made up situation so that the Republicans in Congress would have a cause to demand protection for the Supreme Court justices? Our side is not the side that resorts to guns. That's their Karen nightmare.
It's obvious that the conservatives on the Court are now the battering ram for their causes, so this is giving the cover and protection for them to continue without any consideration to how they are negatively affecting people's lives.

(46,705 posts)Is anyone investigating him? Shouldn't be too hard to discover his political beliefs.

(26,735 posts)Why confuse your own limited knowledge on a subject to mean that nobody else knows anything either?
There has been lots of reporting on the gunman
Baitball Blogger
(46,705 posts)Seriously? You have to ask why people keep asking hard questions on this site?

(26,735 posts)"Tinfoil hat" was the correct label in the OP.
Your OP presupposes that people know nothing else about this guy but that he called 911 on himself.
That simply isn't close to true.

(46,705 posts)As you have been so helpful in demonstrating. I'll be sure to leave you a good review.

(26,735 posts)There were lots of people who very naturally (like "stages of grief" ) wanted to deny that it could possibly happen. The reporting had to be mistaken or it had to be some sort of false-flag operation.
Get over it. It happened. Some nut wanted to "give his life meaning" by killing a SCOTUS justice. Just because he agreed with you on a gun ruling and/or an abortion ruling does not mean that you are somehow tainted by the similarity.
My reply didn't "bloody" you. It merely pointed out that "denial" is supposed to be fairly short-lived in rational people. It's been over two weeks. It's time to give up the fantasy that perhaps some right-wing plant was trying to make you look bad.

(46,705 posts)proved to be true. Everything from the FBI monitoring phone calls to ufos. Not believed until it became common knowledge today. The only way that we can be sure is when we're convinced that all the information and data is released to the public.

Also, the guy's going to prison I would assume. How would they find someone willing to take that fall?
Baitball Blogger
(46,705 posts)There are people who have fallen on misfortune that would accept a couple of years in prison just for a chance of a clean slate.
LuckyCharms
(17,425 posts)Was just considering that as you posted.
Good OP.

(26,366 posts)He apparently didn't go through with his plan (which appears to have been a murder-suicide) because he ran into 2 marshals that were guarding the house. It's not surprising he turned himself in as he didn't know what to do with himself after his suicide plan failed.
