(10,635 posts)...as much as the GOP is now into this "stolen election" bullshit, it makes me wonder why they protesteth so much. A logical answer is that THEY stole it in 2016 and want to deflect attention from that.
Can't prove it obviously, but I remember a few fishy things going on in 2016. Have to look them up again, just for the helluvit.

control the Supreme Court, Putler would have thought twice before invading Ukraine with Hillary in the W.H.
Past time to kill the electoral college.

(13,018 posts)Fuck all you Susan Sarandons and Jill Stein Green Party idiots. And especially the 1/3 of Americans too busy to vote at all. And Putin supporters. There were much more than just baskets full of deplorables. There were states full of em, still are and are ejaculating with joy today. All are just fine with the exposed traitorism being exposed for weeks, actually having the same climax about that too.

(13,479 posts)Certainly, same-sex marriage will be in their targets. Theyve already given the green light for private corporations and religious organizations and schools to discriminate against LGBTQ and to deny women access to birth control through their insurance plans. My bet os on LGBTQ eights first, then outlawing all forms of birth control in line with the teaching of the Catholic Church.
I believe eventually they may get to Brown v. Board of Education because that is a topic that many right-wing judges have refused to answer the question of whether it was rightly decided. Refusing to answer that question is tantamount to acknowledging that the judge is a white supremacist.
So far, the Court has given huge bonuses to the extremist religious right on abortion and the freedom to discriminate against LGBTQ and and to the gun worshipers. They havent yet done favors for the anti-government crowd r the white supremacists, but Im sure well see future cases giving them the opportunity to support those groups.

(8,610 posts)Corporate America and Multinationals have supplied much of the cash that made this happen. They are every bit as culpable as Moscow Mitch or TFG.
Greed is a disease fed by money and power. We may not be able to hold the conservatives in SCOTUS accountable but we can make the corporate corrupters feel it.

(58,785 posts)the Republicans are moving very fast and aggressively to impose tyranny of a minority, not incrementally as most thought they would to avoid potentially dangerous blowback.
He's especially concerned that a case taken up next year will give authority to decide presidential elections to state LEGISLATURES.
