(114,680 posts)Anything that can help waylay these a'holes attempts to track you, your movements and conversations will be targeted too. Find a library or other source for computer access for your searches for anything related to "choice" or birth control. Even with VPN, I would not use my own computer for this because the vigilante crew will probably be enabled in ways to access your search history if they bring a suit or action against you. And, obviously, law enforcement can.

(1,992 posts)$10,000 bounty on women they suspect are getting abortions, remember?
Your privacy will be invaded by greedy misogynistic assholes whether you're pregnant or not. and harassment will just be part of the game.
Why give them anything to go on?
And it's not just yourself you need to worry about, but any friends of yours that might be pregnant and close by to you..."Ma'am, by your own electronic records it shows you had contact with such and such before she had an abortion..."

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
