This week is why millions voted for Trump.

We often wonder how people can vote against their own self-interest or why anyone could still support Trump after all that has been exposed. For millions, this *is* their own self-interest -- controlling women, restricting rights, gutting regulations, propping up the gun industry. All of it and more.

They don't care about Trump's abhorrent behavior or his lies or his attempted theft of an election. They don't care about the GOP's duplicity or inability to govern. They only care about the end result.

All that really matters to them is the (R).

As long as the GOP delivers white, male christian minority rule, they are fine with it.

And as long as they hurt "others", they're fine with it.

Funny thing is...many of them are treated like "others" and don't have a clue.

Today's ruling just shows that God worked a miracle through an imperfect man...wasn't that the crap they spewed to justify voting for Trump?

You're spot on...this ruling is exactly what they voted for and now it's time to fix that.

goes on to strike down other rights that even trumpers took for granted, because this may be the best chance to get a defining win over the Repugs. Hurts in the short term certainly but there needs to be a tidal wave 🌊 to bring America back to the 21st century.

The Coat Hanger Five are conservative Republicans, and will only take away rights from those who are not conservative Republicans. Yesterday’s gun ruling is proof of that.

of the American people. I don't believe it will take 30 years for this to be fixed but Democrats need a plan and the determination to execute that plan. Stop playing nice.

I would advocate for Democrats to arm ourselves. The right wing extremists are shouting from the mountain tops that they will not stop until they subjugate women, minorities, and those who would stand in the way of that subjugation.

Part of the issue I have had with the Democratic party is that they keep bringing rubber chickens to a gunfight.

11. "only take away rights from those who are not conservative Republicans"

The abortion ruling takes away from all groups, including conservative Republicans. They have plenty of abortions but often have the resources more readily available to do so.

"Republicans don't have fewer abortions than Democrats or liberals or anarchists or communists. It's that our political rhetoric paints people who have abortions as largely the same – poor women, young women, irresponsible women, women who hate children," said Amanda Reyes, president of the Yellowhammer Fund, which provides funding for women seeking access to any of Alabama's three abortion clinics. "It's gotten us to a point where we can't see the fact that we're all having abortions, and we're doing it for reasons we personally think matter – and that's all that matters. Pro-life women are having abortions, too."
