We knew the nominees lied. That's why the questions about Roe and respecting precedent were important. This is not the first time in history that SCOTUS has trashed its own precedent, and nobody should be surprised. The "moderate ally" republicans like Susan Collins only care about their political backsides, and are all too happy to accept those lies as cover. That means that we fight like hell to defeat them.

You aren't in the Twilight Zone. This is the very real consequence of Trump and republican power pre-trump when Obama was denied even a vote on a Justice. This was exactly the game plan. If it feels surreal, I'm afraid it's because you weren't paying close attention.

Where States Rights are important when you're NOT in charge in D.C., and don't exist when you are.

Where precedent and established law are important, unless it's politically expedient that they're not.
