it IS part of a larger attack. It's the dark money attack on democracy that's been at work since Citizens United. This is the move toward minority rule government.

The big tuna attack is corporate divisive dark money and media hype that drives messaging against anyone non-male and non-white.

But since 15,437,962 more of our party voted since 2016, we should be able to win at least at the federal level in the midterms. This November could/should/would make the third blue wave in three election cycles.

the moral issues surrounding abortion. "Unborn babies, unborn schmabies!" is their real attitude.

I believe they worked so strenuously to overturn Roe v. Wade just because they wanted to "lock-in" that part of their voting base. That's all.

Overturning Roe v. Wade is just one part of their overarching scheme to stay in power, along with destroying voting rights, electing politicians and secretaries of state who will eagerly overturn elections, committing blatant gerrymandering, keeping Citizens United the law of the land, and oh so many other devious tactics.

Like someone wrote in another post, all the GOP wants is wealth, control, and power. And they are staging a multi-pronged attack on democracy to attain their evil, self-serving ends, just as January 6 was just one part of a multi-pronged scheme to keep Mango Mussolini in office.
