Overturning Roe v Wade Also Underscores Danger of Ignoring State and Local Govt
What really causes the overturning of Roe v Wade to hurt is that Republicans control government at the State and Local level even if Democrats have the Presidency and narrow majorities in Congress.
Now, you have most states moving toward outlawing abortion. So, why not begin the fight by getting Democrats elected at the State and Local level, rather than ignoring them to focus on federal races?
Plus, winning races at the State and Local level opens up the pipeline for viable candidates at the federal level.
