I didn't realize she was still singing and writing. At seventeen and society's child were so unlike most of the stuff in the 60s.

Blacklisted at 16 from performing it on most tv shows by Bill Cosby who was aghast that she was a lesbian.

and have always loved her. I did not know she was 14 when she wrote that. Bill Cosby, somehow I missed that too. I guess rapists are A-OK but lesbians will kill the world?
