These "schools" are Magdalene Laundries (imho), in all but name. The girls (inmates) are abused, worked and incarcerated. The only difference being that the sentence is not for life and the parents pay for the "treatment". Many of these schools and bootcamps have the teens doing work on the Pastor's residence (mansion) for free. And most, paddle (physically and sexually assault, imho) teen girls for the slightest infraction -- including asking to eat or use the restroom as well as "defiance" (failure to appropriately venerate the sociopathic thugs, imho, who run the place).

is an obsession with many of these people (I grew up under the late-70's and early-80's Moral Majority era in a Fundie family). Why? Discipline? Not in my experience. Domination, sexual gratification, denigration, etc.
