Men also have a dog in this fight. Not just child support, but reputations destroyed

Picture what's going to happen. Men in this country, especially white men, leverage the concept of reputation in order to reach a level of trust in their community and in their occupations. How many of them have learned to rely on those reputations in order to shield themselves from rumors of their peccadilloes? This concept of reputation once bought them time to discretely work out settlement agreements with the people they wronged. Well, no longer.

Expect the suburbs to explode with babysitter pregnancies; Sunday mass sermons to become confessionals for priest/deacons/ministers; CEOs, politicians deciding to quit and spend more time with their families. And there will be no haven for the rapists. Expect an epidemic of men going to sex addiction counseling as part of their court sentences.

So, men, throw discretion out the window. Women who are forced to carry unwanted pregnancies should be vocal about who got them pregnant, and it will easily be confirmed with DNA tests. The pain of this foolhardy decision made by the right-wing Supreme Court, will be shared. Reputations will be destroyed, and young men will also see hardship in the way of child support.

It's time to woke the men. Raise their level of awareness about how this is going to impact on their lives and we might have more than a few voting along with us in November.

girlfriend to a place where abortion is legal. It is the women who can't afford to travel to other states who will suffer the most.

It's really those that actually have a reputation in a community that have the most to lose. If they are serial rapists, we'll finally know in real time.

Most of them aren't worried about getting a young woman pregnant. They figure "she's on the pill" or "she can take care of it". But now he has to support a child for the next 18 years, financially at least.

And now there is DNA testing, so they can't deny being the father.
