Come on WI, MI, PA, VA and NC, I KNOW the folks in these States could take a lesson from Montana.
In fact, The Right To Privacy should be enshrined in the US Constitution as an Amendment; we ALL could take a lesson from Montana.

With this monumental decision, the Supreme Court has restored power to the American people and their elected representatives. I'm in discussions with legislative leaders on next steps as we work to protect life in Montana.

(86,586 posts)And everyone pointing out this facet of our constitution don't understand the myriad ways the legislature, governor and AG are trying to undo this nice little law we've got there. Our constitution is young, from the 1972 constitutional convention.
In fact, they are at this very moment, contemplating calling a special session to find a work around so they can outright ban abortions in the state. Another rewrite of the state constitution is one of the items on the menu.
We get dinged for all the good things we do and praised for the shit that needs fixing.
