Frederick Frazier, the Republican candidate for Texas House District 61, has been charged with two counts of impersonating a public servant, a third-degree felony, after an investigation over accusations of sign-stealing during his campaign.

A Collin County grand jury handed up its indictment of Frazier, a Dallas police officer, on Thursday. Frazier turned himself in to the Richardson police department Friday and was released on bond a short time later.

As a cop, he was already impersonating a public servant.

If he got elected, he’d still just be impersonating…
