Third party idiots worked hard to depress the Democratic vote and help elect Trump. A Trump presidency was going to kick start a revolution! In the meantime, there was "activism" to monetize.

At any rate, it's hardly surprising that someone who works for a sketchy/"newsy" youtube channel that shares a name with a genocidal movement is also a religious bigot. What is surprising is that this garbage found its way here.

1) The Democratic Party is a coalition. People within have various views, and not all of them will agree with you. Because we are a coalition we need to respect the diversity of that coalition.

2) When a dominant wing of the Coalition tells one wing of the coalition to sit down and shut up it does at least as much damage to the coalition.

Even though I agree that her (and all the young Turks) attacks have hurt the Democratic coalition, casting them out is at least as harmful. Ask yourself how your attacks on people exasperated with the RWNJs and their unrelenting bigotry differs from what you just attacked.

Ones that claim to support liberal causes, but won't vote for the more liberal candidate because they're not ideologically pure enough. I am trying to point out several things.

One is that at least according to what they say they agree with these liberal causes, but when push comes to shove they often support protest candidates who cannot win. We are fond of saying that Republican voters vote against their own self interest, how would we describe the ideologically pure liberal voter who will draw support from the more liberal candidate with a chance of winning.

Another, and this is painful for many of us to admit, but the main body of the Democratic Party engages in hippy punching more than occasionally. We really can't expect the more ideologically driven part of our community not to take offense when we tell them that what they believe in doesn't matter and shut up.

As far as I can tell a pretty substantial portion of the right would vote for burnt toast if it had an R after it's name, and honestly we cannot expect to ever get those votes. There are still some sane people who vote R because that's what they've always done and historically the R has been more closely aligned with their values. Then there are the people who should be voting for the more liberal candidate even though they don't like some of their positions (I didn't say all because if a liberal person hated all of that candidates positions how did they get an D). The first group is lost, think of them as dedicated fascists. The second group might be able to be reached, but how much effort is required. The final group is a WTF is wrong with you. Think Susan Sarandon, Jill Stein. Your actions hastened all the causes you claim to be against, so either you're lying or you are not thinking this through.

If the Justice Democrats are lying about what they believe, not simply useful idiots but actual agent provocateurs then we should expend our energy to expose that. Attacking their positions that are somewhat in alignment with ours because the Justice Democrats hold them is engaging in the same moronic ideological tit for tat they're playing. The Rs actually do win then.

And for the record I do think they're wrong plenty of the time. Even this makes me cringe. Its hard to be tolerant of other peoples beliefs, she's not quite making it.

Finally until we have some other scheme than a plurality in a general election, voting for non-viable third party candidates is voting for your opponent.

elections...first of all...there is no hippy punching...that is bullshit. Secondly, the reason Republicans win is that they always vote, and as you put it would vote for a piece of burned toast if it has an R next to it. Party loyalty...you complicate voting... it is pretty simple. Once the primary is over, vote Democratic always. Because at that point either an R or a D is going to win. and an R is never acceptable period, end of story full stop. We need to be willing to vote for burned toast if there is a 'D' next to it.

Third parties will never win and are exactly the same as voting for a Republican in the General. Justice Democrats hate Democrats and the destruction of the Democratic Party is their stated goal. They take money from Republicans. They are not nor ever were a part of our coalition. Our revolution, the People's Party, and Greens are not either. So we need to vote in every General election for a Democratic candidate. And we need to use a fifty-state strategy in order to nominate candidates that can win.

The only thing it says, and it’s in the part Chrisrians share with Jews, is if you cause a miscarriage, you have to pay some compensation.

That's why it's so ridiculous that she's going on about Christians. It only the evangelicals who take an extreme position on abortion. And that evolved as a political position, not a religious one.

The more we speak out, the more sunlight we shed on this darkness, the more they show their cowardice and run. That whole thing about evil wins when good people do nothing starts right here. Right fucking here.

Stop this bullshit. Stop carrying these poisoned memes forward, bury this bullshit in the sands of the Bronze Age where it belongs.

This is why we must have an educated population armed against this drivel.

Thank you for posting her!

She said she doesn’t care if you’re Christian and she would even defend your right to be one, but that’s where it ends. Your Christianity is not allowed to affect her life. That’s not bigoted in the slightest bit.
