Completely unscientific I know but . . .
My web page, http://andyshanks.smugmug.com , tracks the number of visits daily. The only place I promote the page is here and by handing out a few cards at events I shoot.
I covered the March for Our Lives event here in Ft Worth on June 11 and posted pictures the same day. I got 1500 views the first day (pics went up about 5 PM). I covered the Women's march February '21 (Texas Abortion ban) and posted pics about 5PM. I got about 1800 hits that first day. I was at the 2020 Woman's March (Trump) and first day visits were 2500 or so.
I shot the March yesterday and only promoted the page update here (didn't take any biz cards with me). The first day visits were 14,000. Almost 10x either of the other two. That tells me that DU shared the link and those shares also shared it.
I know it's pure supposition but I think the Republican dog that has chased the bus called abortion rights finally caught it and has no idea what that means. They have poked a bear, a very big bear . . .

The data are very interesting. I think your photos are getting you noticed! As well they should.
