abortion is safe in blue states. Blue state folks are marching in outrage for red staters basically

Blue states will be funding / arranging abortion access for red staters basically.

how does that serve the cause? Are we preventing red state women from knowing the true cost of eliminating Roe V Wade?

is my though process off here?

Women must march in solidarity with all women. Men must march in solidarity with all women. And don't kid yourself into thinking for a single moment that Blue States are safe. You can take to the bank that a NATIONAL BAN ON ABORTION could become the law if the republicans EVER gain enough seats in the Senate and House and win back the Presidency to make that happen. No one is safe.

If Mitch is back in charge, with the House and the WH in his column, you can be sure that he will completely nuke the filibuster for all legislation and lock it all up. National Abortion Ban, Marriage Equality gone. And on and on.

is already quite aware of the true cost.

Red states are not monolithic in either politics or support or lack thereof of abortion rights. We shouldn't penalize or ostracize those who seek safe access to abortion simply because of where they live.

It's on their target as well - as soon as repbulicans get the chance they will pass a nationwide abortion ban. How are you seeing that as "safe?"

So a woman who had to drive 15 hours or take a plane or bus to a blue state doesn't realize the "true cost?" The women who have to fear that some rando will sue them and their family doesn't get it?

Perhaps a concern, but does it outweigh our concern about forcing women to have children they don't want?

I plan on financially supporting efforts to get women to free states because my concern for the latter outweighs the former. It's barely a conundrum for me in fact.

people a lesson. There will be plenty of suffering which inevitably goes unprevented despite our best efforts to teach those lessons anyway.

than the legality of abortion. This is about making women second class citizens and turning out country into a religious oligarchy. People in blue states are saying get your f**king Christianity out of our government PERIOD.

Fighting for rights has to be local, has to be statewide, has to be national.

If any one doesn't count, no one counts.

It's also about this activist Supreme Court that is going against precedent.

It's also about what comes next from them; LGBTQ rights, Contraception, Voting rights, etc.

What other rights are they going to try to take from people? It sure as hell isn't guns!
