Dangerously Absurd

Every day I try to think of just the right word or phrase to describe the right-wingers, something that may agitate them if they heard it. Crazy, batshit, cultists...they all dismiss that now. Assholes, fuckwits, evil demons...they don't care. Stupid used to hurt them but I think they're becoming immune to that. There are so many adjectives to describe the fuckery all around.
For the most part I've lost faith in humanity in the last few years but I do daydream about saying this to a right-winger: "You're an irrational cultist actively supporting pain and suffering. Even worse is that you're too wrapped up in your cocoon of religious and political propaganda to see how dangerously absurd - way beyond stupid - you've become. Maybe you've always been dangerously absurd and just hid it better."
A lot of words, I know. I don't talk with any of them any more. It was a waste of energy. I only talk to them in my mind now. I don't interact anywhere any more, so it was even a wee bit cathartic even typing that...lol.
But I zeroed in on Dangerously Absurd, Googled it, and the first result was a poem from 2014 and thought I'd share.
DANGEROUSLY ABSURD
A cloud of deception lingers on
Blind devotion and simple mindedness
Attacking evil they become evil
Building weapons out of unkindness
Their compassion is but a whisper
Their hatred a shrill shrieking scream
That’s heard from every mountaintop
Every valley in between
This wisdom is built upon
Interpretations of ancient words
It’s all so contradictive
And dangerously absurd
It’s okay to hate evil
Yet evil is a product of hate
It’s all in the name of some loving god
Who lacks the ability to tolerate?
The only thing I know to be real
Is that the enemy is the hate that we all feel…
