I am sick to death of the "if we had only done X" arguments

Enough bashing each other for what SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED. Revisiting 2016 or the stolen SCOTUS seat or the fucking Jill Stein voters is not going to make our lives any better this day.

What can we do NOW?

Have you written letters to your congresspeople? Made calls? Sent money for abortion travel? Attended a protest?

No? What the fuck are you waiting for, someone else to do the work for you? If you want to save America, then let's get to work.

We need EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US to be engaged and furious and to do whatever we can. Whining about the past won't do a damn thing.

Tell me what you've done.

I've written my Senators and I've donated money for abortion funds. Tell me what you've done.

It is not productive. Nobody knows what would’ve happened if we had done so and so. Nobody knows, period. What can we do now, is much more productive.

We have to get engaged and stay engaged to change this hellscape for women. No amount of lamenting the past will help us do that.

I am just as angry as everybody else for what didn't happen. But we can't change the past.

Blamers, you get the gong, you're projecting.

We have strong leadership, just not charismatic leadership.

“We were kind of useful idiots or rubes at that point,” said Robert Sinners, a former Trump campaign staffer, adding he now feels he was misled about the effort. “I’m angry because I think, in a sense, no one really cared if people were potentially putting themselves in jeopardy.”

I too thought that it was no help to think about things that should have been but then I thought a little more and came to understand that many people are still in shock and having problems processing this. The decision just came down on Friday, give people a chance to come to terms with this idiocy and they will begin to deal with it rationally.

I don't have a problem with some soul searching, it is perfectly normal.

At some point we have to take what we learn, make some changes, and move forward.

If we can win/hold these seats plus hold others Dems now occupy, we will “control” the Senate even without the votes of Manchin and Sinema.

Luckily, my reps in the state, and in the House and Senate, are all strong Dems, so they will vote the right ways.
