Tennessee files emergency motion to move up timeline for abortion restrictions to take effect

https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/2022/06/24/tn-abortion-law-tennessee-attorney-general-files-emergency-motion-roe-vs-wade/7723483001/

A near-total abortion ban is set to take effect 30 days after the Supreme Court's ruling overturning Roe.

But Tennessee of0ficials hope to enact an abortion ban sooner via a different law.

Additional court filings in response to Tennessee's emergency motion are expected on Monday, June 27.

Tennessee officials don't want to wait 30 days for abortion restrictions to go into effect.

Congratulations, red shithole, TN, you are again an international disgrace!

Once again, I am so glad I moved out of TN, my home state, over 35 years ago. For everyone still living there, especially people with a uterus, I am so sorry.
