A question on abortion:

Could Pres. Biden order VA hospitals to perform abortions? Would they be subject to state restrictions?

Just musing here. On deeper thought, the G-D'ed Hyde Amendment might be a problem.....

1. The Hyde Amendment will forbid it. As for Executive Orders, they aren't real legislation....

… because they aren't a product of the legislature. They're kind of like time-limited magic wands: at the stroke of noon on the next president’s Inauguration Day, they turn into a pumpkin.
