If you are a person who suddenly
finds yourself with a need to go
camping in another state, a state
friendly towards camping, just
know that I will happily drive you
support you, and not talk about
the camping trip to anyone ever.
I've seen this from friends who live where it's still safe to camp after this week's court decision and from friends who'd be willing to drive from as far away as Georgia.
This is not a healthy country.

(2,705 posts)an existing network, go through their vetting and training process.
There are many existing camping networks set up to help and they ensure that those camping with them have a safe, secure experience and that the camping guides are knowledgeable and know what to do in emergencies. The trained camping guides have legal resources behind them if the gespacho police pounce and won't buckle or turn on the campers to save their own skins.
Lots genuinely want to offer help. Do it through the existing network and help ensure the campers stay safe.
