When the GOAL is to radicalize people in order to get their vote, sometimes

they will give you what you really don't want.

Trump gets it. Sometimes Trump lets the truth slip out. Trump knows overturning Roe is a bad deal for the Republicans. Trumps goal was not too overturn Roe. His goal was to radicalize people to vote for him by telling them he would appoint judges who would over turn Roe.

I do not believe Trump thought the Supreme Court would ever get rid of Roe. Just my opinion.

He never had a legislative agenda that he was serious about. Fed the crowd with Exec Orders and the rightist judge appointments. The latter is what the people that supported the rightist agenda (whether Trump or not) really wanted and even if they didn't necessarily like Trump, he was the tool they needed, along with GOP senate, to install their kind of judges. This is a much longer term and serious problem than the Congress or other elective office as the seat is for life. The most tragic thing about Hilary losing is the judgeships.

usefulness to the Rs has expired and they will throw him under the bus and anoint someone else --- far more right than even Trump -- to take his place.

The coup is not over.

We need to be pushing our congress members to conduct impeachment hearings on certain judicial members. Lawrence Tribe came out and said that Alito cherry-picked legal standards/provisions he had included in a brief and so misstated the law.

We need impeachment hearings so that the Rs don't write our history.

I am fully aware that we don't have the numbers in the Senate to impeach and likely never will, but that doesn't mean the House should not conduct hearings. The J6 hearings are setting the historical history of Trump's presidency. Impeachment hearings for USSC justices must as well.

Yes, wait until after mid-terms, but discuss it during the campaign!
