We are in for the fight of our democracy. We are in great peril.
Vote D no matter fucking what, if you give one damn iota about our democracy, you will do so.
No more if this well, they attended a corporate fundraiser, I just dont like her, they are just as bad cause I wont get Medicare for all., etc.
HELL, we are on the precipice of losing our democracy.
This threat MUST supersede all other considerations.
If one isnt on board with this, get out of my face and I will vote to hide on this website every post that implies something like the above outlined.
Then I will vote straight D.
Thank you, in advance.

(1,069 posts)whipping people into obedience isn't going to work. We don't own them. Our leaders must inspire, attract support.
Yes, low information voters blame the wrong people for what's wrong in the world (in their lives).
Some percentage of voters who feel ignored by their party WILL stay home. Not all, but enough.
We need candidates who can reach them. There is no other way.

(68,715 posts)are useless to us moving forward. I am a progressive and I believe with all my heart in progressive ideology. But I am prepared to move to the middle and get the votes we need if we have voters who don't want to vote Democratic in every fucking election then we will find new voters. Democrats never had big majorities without a big tent. Get on the Democratic train and let's send these f'ing GOP asses packing.
