Clarence Thomas is saying people need to live with outcomes they dont agree with.
He should tell that to Ginni Thomas.

Oooooo!!! [A]ides refused to divulge what additional evidence they planned to present
.or who would be testifying, saying that the panel was concerned for the security of its witnesses.
BEST GUESS?
Rudy's testifying because they promised him a month of bodyguard service.

(9,776 posts)Not being a gambler, I couldn't find one. They must exist. I recall something of the sort around election time.
I just wanted to avoid "the usual suspects", though they may have the most impact ... Eastman, Alexander, Clark, Brooks, Cippolone, "Mel"?

(1,428 posts)From CNN's Kaitlan Collins
Former President Trumps orbit will be watching closely as one of the closest aides to his former chief of staff Mark Meadows testifies on Capitol Hill Tuesday.
Cassidy Hutchinson may not be a well-known name outside of Trump world, but she was an access point to the inside of it when Meadows was his chief of staff. If lawmakers wanted to get in touch with Trump, they called Hutchinson, not the White House switchboard. When they had a message to push to Meadows, they rang Hutchinson, not the legislative affairs staffer.
The young aide was there for moments big and small in the final years of the Trump presidency and was so close to Meadows, she made calls for him, arranged his meetings and even used to lint-roll his suit jackets. At least six of her former colleagues that CNN spoke with said her testimony wont be good for Trump or Meadows. One noted she was aware of Meadowss activities or lack thereof on Jan. 6, 2021.
Given that her testimony is not expected to be positive, Hutchinson has become increasingly concerned about her security in recent days. A person familiar with her situation says has obtained security in recent days.

All these schedulings are on a tougher security level the closer they get to finishing their irrefutable case of seditious conspiracy against trump and trumpcult.

(2,216 posts)Fear for witnesses, hints at a lot of interesting evidence.
Assuming the potential threat from traitors already in Washington would still be there, this probably means they would expect potential issues from traitors who would call in and direct crowds to start violence.
What I take away from this, is that the Jan 6 Committee has reason to suspect that there are voices that would potentially call for violent crowds to gather. While most of us suspect that and could even list a few media personalities that would be on that list, it is interesting that the Jan 6 Committee feels that there are active and potentially violent agents they need to be prepared for.

(20,670 posts)Alex Holder. The filmmaker of the Trump documentary whom the committee said last week they had recently obtained evidence from. My guess is theyre afraid its going to leak before they have a chance to meet in July
That may be but they had that info prior to last weeks testimony, no? I'm guessing it's more about Ali Alexander saving his own ass and hanging every senator and congressman that coordinated with him out to dry.

(7,887 posts)This would be the person on the inside who actually handled all the details for Ali Alexander, or someone else like him, who has had a Come-to-Jesus moment and can tie it and them together in plain language. Or perhaps it is specific evidence, copies of text or signed emails, or damning photographs, which performs the same function.
The sort of thing which once heard or seen cannot be un-heard or un-seen.
