Wearing black on 4th of July. As an NYC'r a lot of people wear black regularly so...

So I'll wear a black armband instead.

I might wear it on the weekend, too since this year is
a Fourth of July weekend

1. I got my black armband and wristband today. Found a black pashmina at ARC.

3. Ah, ok! Actually, yeah, I have to go buy a black scarf or something...

or I could buy a Black Sharpie and color in some think paper.

Oh even better I can go to an Art Supply store and get a nice thicker Canson Mien Tiens black paper.
Saves me from the smell (ugh) of using the Sharpie!

2. this is a really, really good idea. it is stunning on the teevee. and the front page.

i've mentioned a couple times the white sox 'blackout' games. the team asked the fans to wear their sox black to a few must win games on their way to the pennant, and the did.

i was at one of the games, and it was like the lights werent working. the pics were on the front page of papers across the country. they were stunning.

I meant to just say subtle, not more. Meaning something not obvious. Definitely no tie in 90 degree backyard weather, I'll be in shorts and a t-shirt. I like the t-shirt idea.
