(16,858 posts)I was in elementary school when this happened. It was such a huge event and my parents were locked in watching the reveal. I'm pretty sure Dad was taping it on the VCR. I went to bed before the end of the show and I can still remember the disgust on my dad's face the next day. 🤣

Funny though nobody knew what was in there, but nothing was certainly a possibility.
We always seem to want to think that, somewhere in the unknown there is something amazing to be found. Once in a while thats true. But most of the time its like the advent calendar in Bad Santa:
