As democracy is undermined, as government is corrupted, as freedoms are stripped way, and as gun violence proliferates, it is imperative all who are concerned highlight this as the fundamental decision to be made in this election and in 2024. It isn’t inflation or gas prices.

Agree with the idea but the slogan is too broad and lacks punch. Need something with a more focus and impact. Something like “your vote is your only voice in government. Vote to keep having your say or you’ll see it taken away.”

The only slogan people remeber from 2016 is Make America great again”. To win dems must let go of old ways on messaging. And be disciplined on it.

Pres. Biden needs to prioritize protecting and ensuring our Democracy and freedoms as the number one issue for the rest of his presidency. Every single day he and the White House should speak out and focus on that issue. He should call a cabinet meeting and give each that task.

Over all other messages, that's the one we have to point to. The Texas GOP is a threat to Democracy. Not Democrats. Democracy. Because of their unchecked partisanship, SCOTUS is a threat to democracy. Trumpism is a threat to democracy.

Don't get distracted by the messenger. It's the message that is important.

2. Yep, the GOP is a threat to democracy.

The ultimate in oppressive BIG Government and wanting to be in our bedrooms.

Taking away freedoms is a threat to democracy – the freedom of parents of trans kids to make healthcare decisions in the best interest of their kids, without fear of having their parenting investigated as child abuse and their kids taken away.

The freedom of women to make choices for their own lives, to decide if and when to have children – that's a threat to democracy.

The freedom of families to send their kids to school and know that they will be safe from gun violence there.
