Would the Committee call a special hearing for Cassidy Hutchinson?

She doesn't seem like a big surprise witness? She has already testified about members of Congress that had asked for pardons. She worked very closely with Mark Meadows. So, no doubt, she could have a lot more information.

She could have the narrative that the Committee wants the public to understand and they may want her testimony before they hand their documents over to the DOJ?

The DOJ and the FBI have been very busy and may have plans to be much busier after this scheduled hearing tomorrow?

Whatever Cassidy Hutchinson might tell them, there seems to be a lot more to discover.

We will be watching tomorrow.

I wrote about Cassidy Hutchinson telling the Jan 6th Committee some interesting things about Lauren Boebert & Marjorie Taylor Greene back in April #January6thCommitteeHearings

Former Meadows Aide Says Lauren Boebert Was Involved in 'Early Planning' of January 6th
Cassidy Hutchinson, a former assistant to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, identified Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) as one of a small group of Republican lawmakers who met with Meadows as early...

One reason seems to be that there are security threats against her and they need her testimony ASAP. Lots more here:

Hutchinson has already been interviewed by the committee behind closed doors and video clips from her deposition have been featured by the panel during earlier hearings. But her live testimony would mark a significant moment in the committee's series of hearings as Hutchinson has long been considered one of its most consequential witnesses due to her proximity to former President Donald Trump's then-White House chief of staff.

I am looking forward to the hearings next week. The Jan. 6 committee has the testimony of a number of staffers who were in the room where it happened and their testimony could be as powerful as Dean's testimony.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/06/04/jan-6-committee-set-make-its-case-public-with-prime-time-hearing/

Cassidy Hutchinson, a top aide to then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, has sat for multiple depositions with investigators — more than 20 hours — and is expected to play a starring role in the hearings, according to people familiar with the matter. Hutchinson, people familiar with the committee said, has provided extensive information about Meadows’s activities in trying to overturn the election......

The Washington Post reported late last month that Hutchinson had told the committee that Meadows remarked to others that Trump indicated support for hanging his vice president after rioters who stormed the Capitol on that day started chanting, “Hang Mike Pence!”

“Cassidy Hutchinson might turn out to be the next John Dean,” Eisen added, referring to the former presidential counsel who accused President Richard M. Nixon of having direct involvement in the Watergate scandal to Senate investigators and federal prosecutors.

Hutchinson is likely to testify live before the committee, complemented by video footage of previous interviews before investigators, according to a person familiar with the investigation.

The Jan. 6 committee does not need Meadow's testimony directly when his top aide and others can testify

I am also looking forward to Michael Luttig's testimony. Luttig is former judge and is well respected

I realize that Colorado is a vote by mail state, but if a major revelation is part of the testimony, the committee may have felt it necessary to expose it before the "polls" close.

A couple weeks ago she dropped former Fat Nixon White House chief ethics lawyer and Fat Nixon business attorney Stefan Passantino for former AG Sessions chief of staff and head of DOJ's civil division under Barr, Jody Hunt. Stefan Passantino is a weasel of a dirty trickster Fat Nixon attorney while Hunt seems a bit more on the "up and up", although misguided imo by old fashioned "non-compassionate" conservatism.

Many are reporting this move would remove her from possible pressure from the former administration she may have been receiving. We all know how they play over there and she may have even felt threatened surrounded by those slimy fucks in a situation like this. Raskin has said she's been very honest with them. That may explain the rumors of possible witness intimidation, once again just rumors.

Hunt may very well be willing to cut her loose some. I'm sure there's some animosity with him the way Fat Nixon treated his nazi mentor Sessions when Sessions recused himself from the Rooskie investigation.

Regardless, the committee has said she is trying to be as helpful as possible and as far as these hearings very honest in response to their questions. It's got to be crazy pressure for a young woman fresh out of college to suddenly be thrust into this position surrounded by these evil fucks. I'm sure the intimidation factor is off the charts not just from Fat Nixons crew but also from the assholes out in the wackoverse. I commend her for her courage to do the right thing.

I don’t know what it is, but I do know the committee wouldn’t call its members back from recess and hurriedly call another televised hearing just so she could rehash what we’ve already heard from her on video.
